International Academic Symposium on “The Origins and
Development of Nomadic Cultures in the Eurasian Steppe”
First call for papers
In order to explore the origins and development of the pastoralist cultures of the Eurasian Steppes, exchange the newest achievements of the research on pastoralist cultures and societies, and promote the development of the archaeology of pastoralism in the Eurasian steppes, the Research Center for Chinese Frontier Archaeology of Jilin University, the Archaeology Department and Chinese Studies Center of Sydney University, the Research Center for Frontier Archaeology, Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Inner Mongolia Hulunbuir Ethnographic Museum are co-organizing the International Academic Symposium on “The Origins and Development of Nomadic Cultures of the Eurasian Steppe”. Overseas scholars can participate online. We sincerely invite you to take the time to participate!

5. Conference fees
The conference does not charge conference fees, data fees, etc. Delegates attending the conference are responsible for their own transportation and accommodation expenses. Food expenses during the meeting will be taken care of by the organizing institutions.
Scholars who plan to participate in this symposium are requested to submit their information via email to the contact persons of the conference group (Su Haibo or Li Jiawei) before July 30th.
